Gene`s Place To Dine in Cleveland

This is our families favorite place to dine. It has such a great atmosphere! We love looking at all the photos, and always find something new. I have never had a bad meal.

They have a wide variety of different types of food and you can get breakfast all day. Everyone is very friendly and reasonable priced.

Love this place. Been going for years. Breakfast is amazing. Also just had lunch and had the Pizzaghetti. Super delicious!

From a first timer:Great food and quick service.Would definitely come back here again.Also if Gordon Ramsay or Guy Fieri comes to Cleveland, make sure they stop by your place

Very eclectic atmosphere. Friendly employees who seem to love their jobs. I ordered a roast beef hoagie and my lunch was delicious. I will definitely return the next time I am in the area.

I was there recently. The food was good and so was the service. Prices have gone up. I was really turned off by our servers nail polish. She was wearing black nail polish that was very chipped off. It looked so bad and unsanitary. I thought people in the food service industry were no longer allowed to wear anything on their nails.

Overpriced, weak service, horribly cooked food. They use the hollywood theme i suppose to try to distract from the horrible quality across the board. I won't be dining there again.

The first thing I noticed that it was not wheelchair accessible. Great atmosphere..excellent server but the food left much to be desired and ended up a little pricey. I probably will not go back again maybe except for a sandwich .

Oldie but goodie with consistent breakfast. Love the popcorn smell when you walk in. Reminds me of childhood.

Hello Gene! This is my new favorite breakfast spot! I love everything about Gene's Place and I wish I would have visited sooner. I always drove by but never thought to stop and try the food.The 40's and 50's memorabilia through out the restaurant is my favorite part, It's very nostalgic for customers of all ages. It reminds me of a diner in Las Vegas that would be open 24/7. They've been in business for 50 years so you can definitely say they got it right. I had and omelette and my boyfriend enjoyed the steak and eggs. The food was really good and so was the service. A great place to get together with longtime friends and family. :)

The breakfast and service here is always good. I don't mind the vintage decor however the vintage dust has to go! Look up at the fixtures over the table hanging directly over your food! As yummy as the breakfast is, this is unappetizing to say the least. The dust in this place is very thick and it's everywhere! Please wash those curtains! Take a day or two, get the staff together and clean everything! Please. And don't forget the restroom.

I'd give them 10 stars if I could. We have been coming to Gene's for years now. We are always welcomed, and love the environment and the food. Service is always friendly and fast, and the food is always delicious and well priced. You really can't go wrong with this place.

This place has tons of sentiment to me. I've been here many times since I was little. This is the last place I was with my grandma before she passed. I love this place. The atmosphere is amazing. The food and staff are wonderful

I'm sure this is a restaurant that a lot of regulars enjoy, but if you're just passing through I wouldn't recommend it. Reviews mentioned nostalgic which I'm fine with, but this is more like hasn't been updated since the 50's, not 50's themed. Prices and food were average for a diner.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. Lots of old and new Hollywood pictures on the wall to look at. Is in an older space, so isn't wheelchair accessible just a heads up.

I've been going to Gene's Place my entire life and I've never had anything but 5 Star service! Any time of the day you go there will always be great service and even better food. My personal favorite has to be the strawberry crepes with a side of home fries, but their lunch and dinner menu foods are just as great! Would definitely recommend this to other people as a great local restaurant in West Park.

Nice family restaurant. Regulars are greeted by name. Decor hasn't changed in years, and that's the way the regulars like it. Reminiscent of a speakeasy in Hollywood. Food is good and plentiful, prices are reasonable.

They have great coffee, breakfast omelet was awesome & very filling. All the staff was very helpful and fast. Under 5 min from placing my order to getting it at the table .The bathrooms, tables and floors all clean . Lots of great history on the walls . Seems like the place to go to in town

33 yrs of my life and this is the first time I've been here and I shall say that I was absolutely impressed, The food was amazing and portions was great!! And all the cool pictures makes it that more interesting. If you haven't been it's a must try.

I love this place. I've only been once but can't wait to go again. I love all of the pictures on the walls of the celebrities. Most from the Golden Age of Hollywood. The dishes are named after movies or celebrities. The food is delicious and the staff is nice. While it isn't handicapped accessible the atmosphere and food makes up for it. The service is great as well.

A small quiet establishment that is very nostalgic. Photos and posters on the walls from the 30s, 40s, and 50s. The food is good, all the dishes are named after actors from that era. A wonderful experience.
